Forensic microdot authentication, applied across the ZAGG portfolio. The same technology already in production with Bing Lee, KTM, Yamaha and Itron, proposed here for ZAGG, on a white-label basis, beginning in the EU and extending to the US.

Years of forensic microdot deployment, DTS International Group
Bing Lee, a major Australian consumer electronics retailer, sells our forensic microdot kit on retail shelves under their own brand: "Bing Lee Property Tagging System." This is the model we propose for ZAGG.
We propose a white-label partnership where ZAGG adopts forensic microdot authentication across the mophie, Gear4 and wider ZAGG-branded portfolio, protecting both the genuine product supply chain and the customer's device after purchase.
Play 1: Lead
Anti-Counterfeit Packaging Authentication
EURODOT polymer-film microdots applied to the packaging of every ZAGG screen protector, every mophie charger, every Gear4 case at manufacture. Customers, retailers, and customs can verify a genuine ZAGG product against a counterfeit in under 30 seconds.
For ZAGG
Defends premium pricing. Protects warranty exposure. Strengthens the marketplace removal-of-listings case for counterfeits. Aligns directly with ZAGG's lifetime warranty proposition.
Play 2: Extension
"ZAGG I.D." Retail Anti-Theft Kit
A ZAGG-branded consumer kit on retail shelves, sold alongside screen protectors and cases. Customers apply microdots to their phone, laptop, or tablet at home in two minutes, forensic ownership marking that survives a factory reset.
For ZAGG
New retail SKU in an adjacent category. Extends the "premium protection" promise from screen to whole device. Differentiates ZAGG from screen-protector competitors instantly.
One forensic technology. Two parallel commercial channels. Both can run simultaneously, and both can launch market-by-market, EU first, US second.
The model we are proposing to ZAGG is not theoretical. It is already in production with major retailers and OEMs. The kits below are real, on shelves, in customer hands, and registered to law-enforcement databases.
Retail · Consumer Electronics
Most relevant for ZAGGA major Australian consumer electronics retailer chain. Bing Lee took our microdot technology and put it on their retail shelves under their own brand, "Bing Lee Property Tagging System", sold alongside phones, laptops, TVs and appliances.
What ZAGG would do
Identical model, a ZAGG-branded kit on ZAGG retail shelves and online, with packaging aligned to the existing ZAGG product line.
OEM · Motorcycles
White-labelKTM Australia ships a fully-branded "KTM I.D." anti-theft kit with new motorcycles. Customers register their bike to the database, apply microdots, and display the "Protected by KTM I.D." warning decals.
What ZAGG would do
A "ZAGG I.D." kit shipped alongside premium devices, included in care plans, or sold as a retail SKU.
OEM · Power Sports
White-labelYamaha Power Sports (motorcycles, jet-skis, ATVs, snowmobiles) ships the "Yamaha DNA" anti-theft kit with new units across the Australian market. Fully Yamaha-branded packaging, applicator, and warning decals.
What ZAGG would do
Apply the same OEM template, bundled with high-value device purchases, with ZAGG's design and branding throughout.
Industrial · Asset Tagging
High-volume deploymentItron, a global smart-utility company, uses Itron-branded "STEALTH Tagging Wands" to mark field equipment with traceable identity. Every wand has a unique ID and manufacture date, deployed at scale across field operations.
What ZAGG would do
Demonstrates the technology operates at industrial scale, production-grade, traceable, ready for enterprise volume.
In every case above, the customer brought the brand. ProTracs and DTS International Group provide the underlying technology, the manufacturing, the verification network, and the platform. ZAGG would step into the same model.
Retail Kit · 1,000 Dots
A complete retail-ready pack: applicator wand, microdot solution, registration card, warning decals. The ZAGG-branded version would replace the cover artwork only.
Application
The customer brushes the microdot solution onto the device. Each microdot is 0.7–1.0 mm, invisible to the naked eye, and binds permanently to the surface.
Alternative Format
Alternative compact kit format suited to bundling with ZAGG screen protector packs or as a free in-box add-on for high-value purchases.
Format 1
Ultra-thin polymer-film dots, applied via brush, sticker, or packaging label. The format used for consumer kits and product packaging authentication. Cannot be transferred to another object without being destroyed.
Format 2
Microdot-embedded security labels and tamper-evident seals, ideal for product packaging across the mophie, Gear4 and wider ZAGG portfolio. Pre-printed labels in a regular production line, no manufacturing change required.
Invisible: Naked eye cannot see the dot, only a UV wand or app reveals it.
Non-transferable: Cannot be moved to another object without being destroyed.
Non-cloneable: Requires DTS forensic-grade manufacturing infrastructure.
<30 sec: Verification time, by UV wand or smartphone EURODOT app.
EURODOT is brand-agnostic at the packaging level. One technology, deployed across the full ZAGG Brands portfolio, with consistent customer-side verification.
Brand 1
Premium screen protectors as a category are widely counterfeited across online marketplaces. EURODOT on every genuine pack lets the customer verify the product before they apply it.
Brand 2
Premium charging products as a category are heavily counterfeited across online marketplaces, and counterfeit charging accessories are a recognised cause of household fires. Helping the customer distinguish a genuine product from a fake is a safety story, not only a brand story.
Brand 3
Premium case positioning depends on the customer being confident they bought a genuine drop-tested product. EURODOT on the packaging label closes the gap between Gear4 and its replicas.
We propose launching the partnership in the EU first. ZAGG already operates from Ireland, and ProTracs is also Ireland-based, with the AA-Europe verification network already wired into EU customs and law enforcement infrastructure. The shortest path to a first deployment.
Once the EU model is proven, we extend to the US market, where the partnership opportunity is significantly larger, particularly for the consumer kit channel through ZAGG's existing US carrier and retail relationships.
Phase 1: EU
Initial pilot on one ZAGG brand line. Co-developed retail kit prototype for one EU market.
Phase 2: US
Extension of the proven EU model into US channels. ZAGG carrier partners (Verizon, AT&T) and major-retailer placement of the consumer kit alongside the wider ZAGG product range.
Shared Ireland base
ZAGG operates from Ireland. ProTracs is Ireland-based. Same time zone, same legal jurisdiction, same operating environment.
EU customs integration via AA-Europe
A pan-EU verification and enforcement network is already operational. Customs and law enforcement can verify EURODOT-marked products at any EU border.
EU GPSR & product-safety pressure
The EU General Product Safety Regulation creates direct regulatory incentive for branded authentication, particularly for charging products and accessories.
A faster proof point
A single EU brand-line deployment is enough to demonstrate the model, before committing to US-scale rollout.
The platform behind the proposal
Platform & Programme
Forensic Dot Manufacture
EU Verification Network
ProTracs
Ireland-registered. Operates the EURODOT platform, the partner programme, and the supply chain integration into customer manufacturing workflows.
DTS International Group
The forensic-science company that manufactures the microdot technology. 25+ years of production, proven by Ford Motor Company, mandated as standard in South Africa and Taiwan.
AA-Europe
Pan-European verification network connecting EURODOT authentication to EU customs, law enforcement, and regulatory bodies across the continent.
If this proposal is of interest, the natural next step is a 30-minute call with the ZAGG team responsible for brand protection, supply chain, or new-category product development. We will follow up with a physical sample kit and a draft EU pilot plan.
All material in this proposal is confidential to ZAGG. We are not currently in discussion with any other consumer-electronics-accessories partner in the EU territory.
